Introduction
The Tamil Nadu Government's Department of Information Technology & Digital Services (IT&DS) aim to contribute 10% towards the state's $1 trillion economy target by 2030. To achieve this, IT&DS will focus on expanding IT/ITeS services in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, tapping into the growing talent pool. The department, in collaboration with the "Council for the Future of IT, " has identified key growth areas and enablers to scale up from the current $20 billion to $100 billion by 2030. This initiative will create 25 lakh high-income jobs, fostering inclusive growth and aligning with the aspirations of Tamil Nadu’s youth.
